Morning Read and Sports Illustrated Announce Editorial Partnership

Morning Read is moving to SI.com, beginning today, to form a new, premium golf destination

Morning Read is on the move, and we are joining forces with one of the biggest brands in sports.

We're thrilled to announce a new editorial partnership with Sports Illustrated, and its website, SI.com. Starting today, all new content produced by Morning Read’s staff and talented roster of contributors — our columns, our podcasts, our videos, our features — will appear at our new online home, SI.com/golf. To say it another way: Morning Read is now the golf page for SI.com. The Morning Read archive will continue to reside on Morningread.com until a full migration later this summer, and once completed, you’ll find all of our work, past and present, on SI.com. We’re excited to continue offering unparalleled golf coverage to our existing readers and to showcase our work to a new audience.

Morning Read’s staff is ready for the challenge. Our 40-plus contributors have combined to play thousands of golf courses, cover hundreds of major championships and win enough writing awards to fill dozens of office shelves.

With any new venture comes new opportunity, and we have big plans for this one. In fact, we’re hiring — so if you’re interested in a career in golf media, please check out our job opening. More opportunities will be coming soon.

As for content, there may be no better week to launch this new partnership than during the U.S. Open, as we merge the best that Sports Illustrated and Morning Read have to offer. (More on the partnership here, from the Sports Business Journal.) We hope to make the new SI.com/golf landing page a daily must-read for everyone who loves this great game.

So, head here and check out our new home. And, as always, thank you for your continued readership. We can’t do it without you.
